I have been here multiple 7 times and I always say we are coming back again soon and that's what happens! I have enjoyed it every time I have come here with family and friends. We always have a blast, from the cottages to all the fun activities, it couldn't be more perfect. There is so much to do from the pool to canoeing and all the places to go on a walk. It is the best getaway. All the accommodation options are beautiful and couldn't look better after looking over everything this place has to offer you really realize that we don't appreciate nature enough. I think that nothing here could be better. It is so relaxing and peaceful yet fun and so enjoyable. I will be coming again next month with family and friends for my birthday. Lets see how fun this will be! 🙂

Dear Frog Mountain team - Wow!!! What a beautiful experience! We are so privileged to have stayed in Sam's Place, as well as in Firefly - each so unique, warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the wonderful activities, the majestic waterfall, kayaking with the mountain view and stargazing in the hot tub. everything was absolutely perfect....we can't wait to visit again. What a stunning location for a family reunion! Your attention to detail is amazing. The cottage was lovely and so nicely equipped. We had such a tranquil, relaxed yet fun few days and will definitely be back. What a hidden gem...may you go from strength to strength.

This is our second year coming here and every-time we come it just gets better. We have decided to make this our yearly vacation. It is so peaceful, beautiful and homely. It is so hard to leave. Everything you need to just relax and have a good time is here. Friendly people, dogs and we love seeing the farm animals daily. Than you for the beautiful stay. See you next year.

"What a wonderful experience! We have two boys and each of them took two friends with. They loved it!! From the canoes, to the foefie slide, the waterfall to the swimming pool. My husband and I could not keep up with them. It was the perfect setting to give our kids the freedom to enjoy nature and all the adventures that comes with it. For city kids, this was heaven! We will be back :)."

Frog Mountain is truly a gem. The perfect place to unwind and be one with nature. Plenty to do for adults and children alike. The Rondavels are comfortable and private from the others. The waterfall hike is a special highlight and the foefie slide was a hit with our kids. We were away for the weekend but felt like a week. Thanks so much to Anthony and Sonja for making us feel at home - very helpful and hospitable hosts - nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back again (hopefully soon!) 🙂

"We loved our stay at Frog Mountain Getaway. We stayed in the Bamboo rondavel with our daughters (4+7) who slept upstairs on the mezzanine level. The beds were comfy, the showers hot and the kitchen well stocked for catering. The nights are quiet & peaceful - we enjoyed our fires in the evenings looking at the stars and our coffee on the stoep in the morning watching and listening to the Nguni's in the paddock next door. We were next door to the playground so our girls could wander off and play by themselves safely. There is a beautiful, easy hike to the waterfall and stroll to the Buffeljagsriver in which to swim and kayak as well as a foefie slide / zipline over the river. The is also a beautifully set pool besides which to laze away the afternoons. Frog Mountain is well placed to explore the Tradouw Pass, Barrydale and Warmwaterberg Spa and stock up on supplies in Swellendam. What stood out for me the most was the warm hospitality and helpfulness of Gabrielle and her family - they have recently started caring for this beautiful space and are in the process of enhancing some of the facilities. Gabrielle - your energy and optimism is contagious - we loved engaging with you and staying in your magical space. Thanks for having us."
