This is a Nature disclaimer and indemnity. By booking with us you agree to the following:

There is no point in beating around the bush! We are in the middle of the mountains in a very lush valley, next to a river, so particularly in the warm summer months we have an abundance of wildlife. We have incredible bird and insect life and are VERY PROUD of the bio-diversity here. Of course, at night the various insects swarm to the light and you may also get mozzies. We cannot prevent this. We do fumigate the cottages twice a year, (with eco-friendly product and we have the certificates for this), in the summer before and after Peak time, and our cottages are cleaned to an extremely high standard. We wash mattrass/pillow protectors regularly and even the duvet and pillows themselves. However, despite our efforts to keep nature out of the houses, during summer, you may still encounter bats, rain spiders and goggo's coming to visit you. This is a natural part of being in the wilds. We strongly protect all life here so do not condone the killing of any animal. Doom or other insect poison is strictly not allowed. If you are in any way phobic of Nature or goggos, then this may not be the place for you. Or, you may want to test your "tolerance to Nature" and enjouy this magical place that is so full of lush life.

We are sorry, but we CANNOT issue you with a refund if you come across a daddy long legs or a rain spider or if your children are "traumatised" by a bug or a bat or any other variety of creepy crawly. We hope that you can teach them not to fear Nature. To learn to be at one, relaxed and comfortable with the Natural world which is indeed their great home.
